A Graphite Piece

This evening when the Sun was almost out of the sky I took my pen and searched for subjects to explore. There were many topics today and I must say that I had a hard time choosing.

As I scrolled through my gallery, I found some roughly sketched pieces by the same artist and the technique caught my attention. It took some time to build though as I had to sharpen my pen and even out the edges, but the same time as it would a regular portrait.

I for one love the technique.
