A Graphite Sketch

While looking for subjects to explore sometime last month, I saw a very firm look in one of the picture. The shocking thing is that it was from a kid and instead of it to repel me, I intuitively was drawn to it.

The drawing process however took more time than anticipated because my Uncle while I was in the midst of the sketch started a very serious conversation, one which I couldn’t pull out from.
As a result I had to take a pause and listen. He went on for an hour and some and then a friend of his stopped by. It was then I continued.

Conversations like that are very important but I barely have them with my Dad too and that was why I just had to stop. I think it is that missing relationship with important childhood heroes that makes one a bit rigid and somehow I saw that in this kid and I just had to finish it.

Conversation that are so important like that are hard to miss, despite what we might be doing at that moment, and it was just the same, as you pause the drawing and listened to your uncle.

I think you show us a very creative drawing today. Cheer's.
