A Graphite Sketch

A colleague of mine where I served for a year kept asking for a personal portrait. I honestly would’ve been happy to draw one for her but as experience has thought me most girls (especially the ones that don’t understand art or can’t draw) just critique away. Some even deny the art because it is not as beautiful as they envisioned and I am always like, ”Young lady, that’s how you look and I’m not even capping or trying to do you dirty” but they still don’t agree.
As a result of this I keep pushing their requests to later date till eventually they forget.

Last week though while I was going through my gallery I found a number of childhood photos she had uploaded at a ‘funny’ moment. And I just had to draw it.
