An Anonymous Graphite Portrait

This particular drawing made my brother scold me a bit about my impression of depth. Initially, the reference I used had a very sharp contrast and I sought only to replicate that effect. It wasn't till I was editing that I saw the gaps he was referring to but at that point, it was already late.

The young lad was a model and I thought of doing the full body sketch but somehow, this sat well with me and I resolve at it...
