Value!!
Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
The idea of value has been misunderstood today, value usually is something that is built from the inside but these days people value themselves based on what they have in their bank account. This is why I made use of money in the picture above.
I will define value and reiterate with the definition to give further insight:
Value is the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something. Link
A very simple way to say what value is: it is relative worth, utility, or importance. Link
So, from the definition value is our worth, our importance and we cannot place this on material possession such as money, it has to be somewhat higher, something constant like character or values.
Before now, value was placed based on reputable integrity, people whose words meant something because they will see it through. Value was measured based on trustworthiness not money.
This is where value should be, in people we can trust not in people who are rich and wealthy. Even if you are not rich, place value on yourself and live the life of value.
