Throat || a five minute prompt

Sometimes I wonder why the throat is so slim, and yet it has quite an important function. It yet takes all we put into it, like a never ending doorway.

I've had times in my life when something hung somewhere between the passage to my throat, it was as if the world would end. I tried very hard to get it off but it did not yield. Those were trying times. I guess the throat is stronger than we think it is because it has had to swallow quite a lot of things. Sometimes I just think it is best not to think much on their function, so as not to get another impression.
