The Lost Ward || a five minute prompt

My ward is troublesome.
The kid keeps bringing trouble home virtually everyday.
There's a complain with a kid from school today, tomorrow is another complain from the neighborhood.
One look at the kid, and he's all moody with his scary face.
I pity him whenever they come complaining because he looks so innocent.
Then again, I guess looks can be deceiving.
I love the kid but he keeps making things difficult for me.
I try to understand him but he keeps drawing backwards, shielding himself from me.
The kid is lost, I hope I find him fast.
I hope he let's me help him.
He's such a troubled boy.
