It is a known fact that the end of fall of anything is usually easier than building it from the scratch. Someone, would build something for years, spend time, resources, and efforts to bring this things together and then it all falls off later on.

But this is what the world is all about. Nothing last forever. Kingdoms rise and fall, empire are built and with time they fall apart. Which is why it is important to focus on the most important thing in life, and that is your fellow man .

The end of an empire can be painful and sometimes unexpected but unlike city buildings, these things take time. It cannot just come to an end but there must be a cause definitely.
