Some folks depend on others to make them happy.
They are always looking for good comments from people to show that they are doing the right thing.
Even though, it is a good way to check yourself.
You cannot rely on the opinion of others to decide what your life entails.
They might be wrong.
Envy can lead them to change their opinions about you, so you are misinformed.
They expect you to please them, make them happy before they can be certified of you.
But you should know most humans are directed by their emotions, they make decisions based on how they feel at the moment.
Don't be bent on pleasing people for favours, they will betray you when you stop pleasing them.
