A myth is a traditional or legendary story, usually concerning some being or hero or event, with or without a determinable basis of fact or a natural explanation, especially one that is concerned with deities or demigods and explains some practice, rite, or phenomenon of nature. Link

I love listening to myths, even though I know most of the stories are not real but it is usually interesting and captivating to listen to the stories.

Somehow, there are lessons to glean from embedded in the stories of myth. And it is important to pay attention to these lessons and not be carried away by the plot. When some of these myths are acted in a movie, you can see the character bringing such imagery to the mind of the audience.

Although there are stories that looks like a myth but are not myths, which is why I started with a simple definition of myth. So, Don't get it twisted.
