I don't think there is an escape from retirement, nature will catch up with you. Whether you refuse to retire when you should, and you were able to manipulate protocols to evade retirement. Your strength and ability will not function as well as your younger age, so it is of no use. You will eventually need fresh minds, young folks that can work better than you can.

I can agree that you should not give on your pursuit and your goals, in this case, you should never Retire. Never relent in making your dreams come true. Retirement can give you a sense of relaxing, being lazy too. Retire when you should, retire when you have achieved your set out objectives.
