Myth-busting" means disproving or debunking commonly held but false beliefs or ideas, often through evidence or logical reasoning. Link

Myth busting is the act of saying or showing that something generally thought to be true is not, in fact, true, or is different from how it is usually described: This shows some of the myth-busting carried out by historians over the past century against the Victorian fantasy of Camelot. Link

This is the first time I am understanding the what myth busting means, infact I am seeing it for the first time. But I totally agree with the concept of myth busting because I know for certain that there are some myth and even old tales that are not really logical. Most of them are not consistent with the ideas they pose and in the end it does not really make sense.

I guess it is saying the myth we rely on is being exposed as not entirely true, this is my layman definition.

Most of these myths were passed down from generations without really knowing what it really means and what it is saying in general, we just keep passing them across generations without finding out what it is really saying and how it came to be.
