Thinking like this might lead a person into depression because it weakens their morale and confidence. It is alright to identify your mistakes and make attempt to reconcile them but feeling sad for yourself and condemning yourself, especially when you keep seeing it as all your fault. This is a huge problem that can break your confidence, and leave you shattered in the end.

You are literally not the judge of what you deserve, because you do not control circumstances or how people choose to act towards you. So being this judgemental is like making an excuse for someone else, it would not help you at all.

Maybe you do deserve that, yet it is not an avenue to feel bad. Trying to make up and moving on is best at this point.
