Grant Me A Wish || a five minute prompt
We know that granting wishes are just stories we tell ourselves to make us feel better, especially the younger ones. They are just fairytale that gives us hope, but we know better now. Despite this knowledge, people still make wishes. Maybe it is a culture to them or they love doing it. I know making a wish on your birthday before blowing the candles is a custom that might not change but deep down we know the truth.
I am not saying your wishes would not be granted. I know folks that have their wishes granted. So, you might have the same story.
There are those that are believers in the genie thing, rubbing a lamp and making three wishes. Some still hope to find a lamp, they already have their three wishes kept.
From my perspective, only you can make your wishes come true
