False advertising is the act of publishing, transmitting, distributing, or otherwise publicly circulating an advertisement that contains a false claim, statement, or representation made intentionally or recklessly to promote the sale of property, goods, or services. Link

The consequence of false advertising is so much, and it can be damaging too. It is misleading and it can waste resources. A little mistake in advertising, hereby leading to a false advertisement can mislead and send people the wrong way.

Advertising is an essential part of passing information to people, so it must be done with carefulness and clarity because the information passed is very important, a little mistake can make the audience misinformed.

False advertising whether it is a mistake or not is false advertising.
