"Ethnic" generally refers to a shared cultural background, including things like language, traditions, ancestry, and religion, that distinguishes a group of people. It can also refer to a group considered to be a minority within a larger population. While sometimes used interchangeably with race, ethnicity is primarily based on cultural rather than physical characteristics. Link

Our ethnicity is unique to us, it tells us where we are, where we've been and where we are going.

Despite the fact that we are of different ethnic groups, it should not be a criteria to divide us or make us envy others, but bring us together and fine-tune our uniqueness to work better together.
