Dependence || a five minute prompt
A lot of people are alive and well because they depend on others. It is a good feeling you get when you have someone to rely on, who takes care of all your worries and all your needs. You have little worries on the world.
But then, dependence can also be giving license to others to have a say in your affairs. They can try to control you, or make you do something they know you are not comfortable with because do not have a choice. I have witnessed this first hand.
Dependence is not bad in itself. It is an avenue to help us lay low or build ourself up while someone else helps us in the process. But the other person will determine if your dependence is worth the while or not.
Being independent too can be lonely.
It all had it's ups and downs.
So we have to choose wisely.
