A Farmer's Daughter Story ββ
One of the reasons why I love simplicity, nature, and country side lifestyle.
My parents have extreme green thumb. I am not exaggerating but even if my mom would just throw a seed of mango anywhere in our lot- it will grow. Hmmm. Maybe its our soil, I don't know. My mom also is into recyling, as you can see she uses plastic bottles and cups as pots for the plants. Currently she is into planting "Money Tree". and its everywhere!
Let me share one of my foolishness as a child.
One summer, my parents,me and my younger brother Jeff were planting vegetables in our backyard. I was assigned to plant ChiliesπΆ. What I did was I crushed them with my own bare hands to get the seeds out!!! guess what, after sometime my hands started to bleed. . I started to cry because it was painful but I just made it worse as I rubbed my eyes with my hands with Chili seeds in it and mate the pain was just excruciating!!!
Moral of the story:
"Do not assign planting Chili to an 8 year old."
@Zizzy
-excuse my mom and her watering the plants pose

Lol, I too have a bit of a green thumb and when preparing hot peppers it's always afterwards that I remember that I'm supposed to wear latex gloves.
since that incident they just entrust me with picking tomatoes
Is that the house you grew up in? I'm envious if so and plants make for a healthier environment, both aesthetically and bodily. Looks like a stunning place.
Yes, I grew up there until I moved in the UK in 2014. Its an old agricultural town in the Philippines
