UNDEAD PRIEST

UNDEAD PRIEST.

The physique of the reference I used which was a sculpted model of a zombie like figure had lots of interesting features that I very well knew would bring out the characteristics of the Undead Priest that I was searching for. I at the time of the sketch thought that the tones I had layered were in fact enough. It was during the editing that I saw that more coloring was needed. For that I apologize.

The card

I attended to the lineart first with my blue pen...

...I then drew the eyes which I believed was necessary

Moved on to the other parts of his face and the ornament on his head

..next I tried reaffirming his headgear

I then shade parts of his gear and his clothes,

added some red and more coloring

I then tried achieving a simple effect on his bandages

and here you have it, the finished work.

The materials I used while making this sketch are blue, black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER
