GRUMPY DWARF

GRUMPY DWARF.

The interesting thing about dwarves which I find completely interesting is their short temper. Emerging comparing their height with their temper in a stand up 😂. I decided to branch out of that stigma this time and did something melancholy.

The card

As always the first thing I did was the lineart. I made sure to capture everything I needed.

I then moved to the head which was very central to the piece..

.. added some of his armor as well as his shield which I painted red and tried to achieve a pattern with various techniques.

I then made certain that the body was in proportion

after that, I shaded the parts that need shading

and in no time I arrived at the final piece..

The materials I used while making this sketch are blue, black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER
