El Paso City: Native American village, Zlatibor

Driving along the slopes of Zlatibor, visiting Tara National Park and Tornik Peak, we saw something in the distance that didn't fit in with the surroundings.
It looked like an Indian tent "Vigman".
In an instant, the decision was made "we'll stop by to see what it's all about".
Interesting...

On the Zlatibor mountain, a complex was created dedicated to motivs from American western movies, movies about the Wild West, with cowboys and Indians.
So that there is no trace of the motivs of the Zlatibor area, it is also a part of the ethnic village with facilities from this region.

"Native American village" is something that is definitely worth visiting.
We park the car and at the entrance to El Paso city, we are greeted by large wooden statues of Indians and cowboys on horses.
We already have an indication of what we can expect in the complex.

And at the very entrance to the complex, a real small town in the west of America.
Saloon, Bank, Hotel, Barber, Post office, Doctor, General store, Jail...

As well as the inevitable postmail carriages

Everything that meant to a white man in that faraway region where Indians lived for centuries before the arrival of white men. Near the prison, there are also gallows, to indicate how much the old Americans enforced the law. in short order...

And how did the whites settle the west? Driving in cars like these, in caravans, like nomads, until they came across a location that would be suitable for them to live in, where they stopped and settled.

What was important to them was that they had running water in their surroundings, a little forest and a lot of arable land... That they could grow products for themselves and their families, that they had somewhere to graze their cattle and that they had something to keep warm in the cold winter days.
Now you can enter these cars, and they can also be rented for overnight stays, if you like...

After the model of the wild west city, we go out to the lake that separates the "two worlds".

Across the bridge, we enter a replica of an Indian village.
Conical wigmans, campfires under the hot sky, a horse grazing in the shade, take us back to that era. I don't know exactly which one, because I believe that the Indians lived in those areas for centuries in the same way - in harmony with nature, without the technological progress that the arrival of the whites brought and imposed on them.

1000015886.jpg

We enter the vigman, a spacious tent intended for tourists. It can fit four beds with mattresses and a table in the middle. I believe that the chief of the Indian tribe lived in the same place with his large family. Surely 10 of them could sleep in a Vihman of these dimensions.

We are sitting on a bench enjoying the rays of the sun and listening to music performed by an artist dressed in an Indian costume.

From this "part of the world", after crossing 100 m we move to the Zlatibor region. Ethnic village of this region. Houses in the style of wooden huts, which are now used for rent to tourists, a church, a restaurant, all in the style of the Zlatibor region.

〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
Towards the end, before leaving the complex, we take a picture next to the model train, which may have been used during the modernization of the Zlatibor region, and it was certainly used during the settlement of North America.

Attractions are enough to get a picture of life in the Wild West.
Both in an American town and in an Indian village.

I was sorry to sit on this little horse's back.
He didn't deserve 100kg on his back 😁
