Craft beer APA Brrkaaa, refreshment with citrus aromas
The time has come for me to introduce a craft beer from Serbia to our #beer community and #beersaturday challenge.
Road trip with the smell of oranges and lemon and a wind through your hair...
Brrkaaa will put a smile on your face!
I decided that it should be a light beer, recognizable label, with citrus notes.
Brrkaaa
After tasting and drinking several bottles,
it turns out, beer Brrkaa is great for recommending 🙂
Kabinet Brewery, founded 5 years ago, is located in Nemenikuće near Belgrade, Mladenovac.
It is the first Serbian craft brewery.
The beer I tried this time was America Pale Ale beer APA "Brrkaaa".
This interesting and recognizable beer label was designed by Branislav Milenković, and Brrkaaa beer got a label with its own mustache, worthy of the taste it plans.
Brrkaa is a light ale beer, cloudy, unfiltered and unpasteurized.
The ingredients of beer are:
water, barley malt, oatmeal, hops, yeast, and contains barley and oats.
It was designed in 2014, produced and bottled in Serbia, to be enjoyed all over the world.
It is the first beer of the Kabinet brewery, which does not have many awards, but is very popular since it was the first in the range of craft beers in Serbia, so it gained a lot of fans.
It is ideal for beginners, who are switching to craft beers.
So far, it has been exported to over 25 countries, so if you come across this distinctive bottle on the shelf in your market, I recommend that you try it.
Some of the characteristics of this beer, which is served at 7-10°C:
Alcohol: 5.0%
Hops: Simcoe and Amarillo (USA)
Extract: 12.4 %
Bitterness: 31 IBU
Color: 13 EBC
And as for the taste...
It is a refreshing beer with citrus aromas, pleasant bitterness and light aromatic taste of lemon and orange.
Thank you for stopping by my post and I hope you enjoyed the photos and the story I shared with you

Wow, is Serbia's oldest craft brewery only 5 years old? Glad to see local craft beers are already available :)
Cheers!
I missed it by 5 years 😕
It was founded in 2014, when they released this beer I wrote about.
I didn't calculate well 😁
Craft beer production in Serbia has been developing rapidly in the last few years. About 90 craft breweries are mentioned, of which only half are registered.
Serbia has a long history of brewing beer. in Pancevo (25 km from Belgrade), in 1722 the first brewery in Serbia was opened.
Cheers!🍻
Good for you, you have a topic for another almost two years :))
I will have to move a little, to drink craft beer in small breweries, it's not interesting when you drink it at home, It's not a real pleasure.
I would like a tasting at the monastery where you were 😃
Sure, beer's better served with a trip ;)

So, in essence, you're recommending beer baarkaaa to me right? Hahaha, I wish I can also have it around especially when am traveling too.
I love the live effect(animation) you put in your image display. Please how did you do it? I wanna practice it
If well chilled, considering the citrus aromas, it would be a great companion 🙂
As for the live effect, it's a Gif. You record a short video with your mobile phone, convert it into a 3-5 second Gif in gallery and add it as a image.
An interesting product, but it is not craft beer 😉
Why do you think it's not craft beer? On the website https://kabinet.rs/about-us/ the brewery calls itself a craft brewery.
I'm not a craft beer connoisseur, so what should I look for when choosing my next craft beer to taste?
At first glance, the specimen looks like mass production, but maybe I'm wrong 😉
It is available in supermarkets, so it seems that it is...
But it is still a private family brewery.
For me, foam is very important. The beer must have a strong head, which means it is heavily hopped
I pour every beer without foam, I'm not a fan.
First the next to be published, I pour with foam 😁
