Good post. However, the reason why Hive does that is because there is no other way to control abuse and reward theft in a decentralized world. Hive is decentralized believe or not. Even if you have the lowest of lowest reputation and are blacklisted you can still post to the blockchain, your posts are only a click away from being seen even though you may be muted on Hive.
Furthermore, Hive bot downvotes only effect your Hive earnings. Those Hive Bots do not have SME power, meaning of course your SME earnings nor other earnings from layer 2 platforms are uneffected. And even more, even if your are muted on Hive, you are not muted on SoMee nor other layer 2 platforms. Meaning of course that everyone in those platforms can see your posts without clicking reveal to see them.. So to be completely honest with you brother. You are making a big deal out of nothing. Don't you prefer decentralized social media?

And lastly, Organizations such as Hive Watchers do not have control nor ownership of the Hive Economies. The Hive Economy is decentralized. The Hive Watchers and other Organizations on Hive can only control Hive rewards from potential thieves stealing from the supply throw their bots. They cannot control speech nor the rest of the layer 2 economies. You will be unable to make Hive rewards because of your blacklist yes. All you have to do is use hashtags to the hundreds of layer 2 platforms available and you can still get rewarded in many other tokens simultaneously while posting.
But that isn't all. You can also swap those rewards you make to Hive if you feel like it. And boom, what do you know. You now have Hive rewards even through all of the downvoting the bots can't stop you from earning. That is how a decentralized economy works. Everyone can succeed no matter the circumstances.
