Three Games, Three Tracks - Pt. 2

Kings of Leon is likely a top five band of all time for me. They have never disappointed me. Some of the smoothest, easiest listening stuff in my opinion. Just the coolest sound ever. I've got a lot of really good memories listening to them. It's been ridiculously long since I've played them though, which is quite unfortunate. But hey, it only makes re-listening that much sweeter.

The first Kings of Leon song to go along with the first game will be 'The End' off their album 'Come Around Sundown'. It's funny how this song is first on this album while being titled 'The End'. Such a great album!!

Ok yeah this very post needs to hurry up HAHA. This throwback session of Kings of Leon is making me just wanna listen to them and them only. At this rate I'm never going to get this post done. This next song 'Closer' sort of goes along with the night time castle vibes shown along with my second chess match.

This one I could definitely imagine playing at a pizza shop like this chess match is appearing in. It's not an all-time favorite but it's enjoyable for sure. It's their catchy tune 'Rock City'.

Frankly speaking I want to save some other favorite Kings of Leon tracks for my next posts in this series! This may be the start of a Kings of Leon phase of Three Games, Three tracks, we'll see how it plays out. It's time not only for a mega throwback session, but it's also time to listen to some of their newer albums! I'm locked in. This post wasn't much about the chess games, they were some solid matches but I got way too distracted by Kings of Leon.

I grew up listening to these guys and I got a more in depth exposure to them on the airplane going to Australia as a teenager. I believe it was on a Qantas flight. THAT was a fancy flight! Good times.

I feel like I've got a lot of stuff to say about Kings of Leon but, there's future posts for that!

As an extra piece of content to share, I believe I was watching/listening to a history video from a YouTube channel called 'Lazy Chill History' while playing these matches. The guy's videos are indeed, chill. But I wouldn't call it too lazy. But the vibes are pretty great and the content is informative as well.

Playing chess, with these videos playing is a pretty heavenly experience. I'll surely have some more of these in the future to share as well.

Till next time...

When in doubt, play some chess.
