September 1st, 1991 Harry Arrives at Hogwarts for the first time - HP History

The Harry Potter world will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart, as well as the hearts of millions of people around the world. Maybe even billions, who knows. Why not add some magic to the Hive blockchain? Life gets stressful and sometimes the greatest escape is into the Wizarding World!

On this date in 1991, in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter arrives at the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the very first time!

If I think about it, this may really be one of the best scenes in the whole series. Just so wholesome and awesome. After such a tough life, Harry's whole world has flipped upside down and a whole new life he never thought possible is literally before his eyes. I mean heck, simply chilling on boats with a bunch of other students to arrive at a new school is pretty fun by itself. Just beautiful.

For a bit of interesting/comical perspective, in the muggle world, Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Dead Again were top movies on September 1st as Harry arrived at the magical castle.
