The dark highway nobody sees
On the dark highway all is quiet
I desire the quiet
But it's also dark
Also nobody notices that

Mile after mile living on the dark highway
Riding on the dark freeway
People seem to move faster than I
On the dark highway nobody sees...

The highway is quick confusing unforgiving
There's no real reward for mastering these lanes
Riding on the dark highway and my legs hurt

My brain hurts but on this atrocious road
I can't think

It's morning now and I don't think I care
