"Brisingr" - Chapters 33-36 - My Thoughts

These were pretty interesting chapters as usual. The dwarves continue to really intrigue me greatly. I feel like it would be so interesting to explore all of their tunnels and the way some choose to just do their own thing is so mysterious and cool. It's really a whole different realm they live in.

Chapter 'Clanmeet' was very intense, Orik is really a very good leader and pretty clever and wise. This whole chapter I had originally thought took place earlier in Brisingr. But my memory failed me once again!

Insubordination was wicked cool, Roran is literally built different. I tend to think he's like human+, I really feel like he's got some magic or power within him that is unspoken, but that's just me. His will power and focus is incredible he's like Tom Brady or Michael Jordan with his mindset and determination. Mixed with like military leadership vibes of the greatest military minds you can think of. In a world of magic and magical creatures I feel like he embodies what humans are capable of in this land of Alagaesia. It's a bit predictable that he's being disciplined for insubordination and I'm sure there gonna be some cheeky comments and blah blah blah about Roran not following orders. But whatever this is how books go. Roran put the team on his back man.

I'm well past the halfway mark now, I can't imagine what it's gonna be like to re-experience this last stretch!! I'm sure my mind shall be blown!
