The Punishment I can't easily forget

While in highschool, I wasn't the stubborn type so I didn't literally attracks much punishment on that aspect, I was a gentle guy and everybody knew me.for that, I always hated trouble making so I avoided it trying to stay on a safer side.

It's quite unfortunate the most teachers think they can correct tye wrongs of their students by heavy punishment, I'm not against punishment or I'm not saying that punishment doesn't help, what I'm trying to say is that most teachers think punishment us always the way to correct, now that's where the mistake is, too much punishment will make the student fear the teacher, it won't make them understand what is right and wrong though in some cases it does but when punishment becomes the usual, the student might even get used to it and learn to absolve the pain.

A good teacher should understand this and with this in mind he will know that sometimes talking to the student who did wrong mat be the solution or making the student to understand whats right and wrong may be the solution.

While I was in highschool, sometimes I don't blame them for tye much punishment but they should have known that there were other ways to solve tge problem.

The reason i was purnished mostly was because I was quite lazy at the beginning, I use to be this quiet and lazy guy when I entered highschool but subsequently I became more serious as I saw the need.

The Punishment I cannot easley forgot

I said earlier that I was mostly punished because of laziness right, but don't forget that it was at my junior class, while I entered the senior class I became more serious.

So what could have caused the unforgettable punishment?

Good question, it's time for me to Introduce you to my chemistry teacher Mr. Godwin, Mr. Godwin is a very strict and funny man, he is an amazing teacher infact I would say he was my best teacher back then in highschool, he has wide knowledge on different field and he knows how to train his students to become smart and brilliant.

He was really a great teacher

Mr Godwin is the kind of teacher that understand how to correct students, he knows that it's not all about punishment so he deviced his means of correcting student, even though he formed his own punishment, they were not too hard and they were punishment that would make you regret doing the wrong thing.

One day in school, my class failed a chemistry test and we knew that we were in for it because Mr. Godwin will surely employ his skills of punishing student and it won't be funny 🤣, don't forget his punishment won't make you fear him but it would make you regret doing the wrong thing.

Guess what he asked us to do?

He told us to swipe the hole football field, my God you should try that one day so you would know that it's not funny, swiping a field that is almost one hectare, though it was funny it was also painful and stressful, we made sure it never happened again.
