Describing a smart phone to someone from the 60s

I can assume how people from the 60s would communicate expecially in terms of distance, it would be so mind blowing to tell that that there are devicese that could be used to communicate others regardless of their distance.

I guess as at then, communication that involves distance would be carried out via traveling and in most times the sender would have to travel for days or even weeks so he could deliver the message and then after delivery, he would return back to were he came from, I can imagine how stressful it would be.

I can also imagine how stressful they make their researches, they would literally travel up and down in order to get information and I'm sure that in those days, people that had those information would be scarce so the person who wants to inquire would have to engage in stressful journeys just to get informed, I guess thats the price they pay.

Imaging storing data in the 60s, if someone was asked to show his data right from childhood, he would literally be showing a house full of information and imagine if he was asked to.search for a specific credential, that would be an inconclusive adventure 😂😂.

So if I had to tell someone with that kind of mindset about a smart phone, I would have to bring it down in a simple and understandable way, a way that would make him easily get familiarize with the smart phone, and one of tye first things I would do is to remind them of the stress the go through in carrying out some functions that could be easily achieved using a smart phone.

I would also have to tell him of the basic functions of a smart phone and how easy it is to achieve.

Three Basic Functions Of A Smart Phone

• Communication: in explaining this function, I would compare the ease to which it could be carried out and the stress they (people from the 60s) experience in carrying out their own system of communication.
• Data Storage: certainly you can guess how data was stored in the 60s, it was stored in a space consuming medium, a medium that could not be accused at any time, using this function I would explain to them how data stored on a smart phone could be easily access and that it's a mobile device so it could be carried anywhere without stress.

You can even get schooled in your room

• Easy Researching: with a smart phone it is easy to make reseaches and without much stress information could be gained, infact people do school online and gain a certificate at the end so its beyond just make reseaches.

Get things at ease with a smart phone

With all these functions, I would be able to convince the person of how easy a smart phone could be used compared to their own system of operation.
