Drawing the Naga Fire Wizard for the Splinterlands Art Contest

Hi guys, hope your weekend has been fun cause mine has. I also was able to make restitution with as many as I had discord with and paved way for a better relationship. Because of the nature of my job and frequent inability to meet up with friends as a result of stress, I have lost many of them but having this weekend off gave me time to mend that a little. Because of this, I feel like one of those embolden villains in movies, as though I could take over the world on my own.
The thought then came to me to utilize this feeling and make it into a character. The #splinterlands cards were my best short so I went through them. Among the pile of cards I found one that stood out, one I had previously explored amateurishly. I wanted to draw something better, better than my previous drawings of the Naga Fire Wizard so this time I used a life reference, something I have rarely done.
It took some time piecing this together though. For the entirety of this drawing I used different shades of colour; black, brown, gold, yellow, blue, purple, pink, red and peach.
