Walking Kona dog in the nearby conservancy we got to see a pileated woodpecker. I got a couple decent photos with my 250mm zoom lense. Its the largest living woodpecker in North America. Only two other woodpeckers in the world are larger. The Great Slaty and Black woodpeckers.
