Competitive art was once an Olympic sport in the past! The international sporting events bestowed medals for architecture, sculpture, painting, and music between 1912 and 1948.
Shame it did not catch on. The famous pottery scene in the 1990 movie Ghost could have won an Olympic medal and an Academy Award for the best screenplay.
