Not going to lie, I am still a little in denial about how important receivers are in the NFL nowadays. I'm still living in the early 2000's I guess LOL. Being a Titans fan doesn't help either. Buuuuuut yeah. I wish the league still valued physicality and didn't act like people never knew how damaging concussions were until a certain Will Smith movie came out a decade or so ago. Talk about a movie pointing out the obvious.

Turns out, getting hit in the head violently over many years can damage your brain, thanks Will Smith!!!

But that's a different discussion.

Despite my whining, receivers have been a valuable position forever and every year it is clear that this importance only grows.

Receivers are hard to actually rank because every receiver is built different and they tend to have their own unique style. A lot of nuance (the most overused and annoying word) and sort of 'abstractness' is involved when attempting to judge these players.

All that being said I basically just picked MY FAVORITE pass catchers and ranked them LOL.

Here we go.

10. Mike Evans - Bucs WR

Absolutely criminally underrated receiver. He's a beast and has never had a sub 1,000 yard season. I think he's incredible. It's wild to me some people don't think he's a shoo-in Hall of Famer.

9. Amon-Ra St. Brown - Lions WR

This man is so fun to watch. He is like a mix between Steve Smith and a smidge of A.J. Brown. One of my favorites just needs to stack more seasons.

8. Davante Adams - Raiders WR

Just a freak of nature. Calvin Johnson-ish. But has his own style.

7. Ja'Marr Chase - Bengals WR

A real menace. Speed and route running combination is just outstanding.

6. Deebo Samuel - 49ers WR

Swiss Army knife or not, this guy's physicality is off the freaking charts. He will run over linebackers, just insane.

5. CeeDee Lamb - Cowboys WR

Pure production and very graceful. Sorta kinda reminds me of D-Hop and a dash of Keyshawn Johnson. Odd combo but CeeDee is just a beast.

4. Puka Nacua - Rams WR

Odd for me to choose him this high up over established receivers, I guess this is a bit of a hot take. But man, he is just so well rounded, very athletic and plays with amazing intensity. God forgot to put fear in this man's DNA. Love his game.

3. Tyreek Hill - Dolphins WR

He is right there with CJ2K when it comes to speed. Just the definition of speed. Stronger than people probably give him credit for too. One of the best receivers in the past 20 years.

2. A.J. Brown - Eagles WR

Pure muscle. Deebo-like but a more natural receiver. His impact on teams has been undeniable. The Titans became a different team when he arrived, as did the Eagles.

1. Justin Jefferson - Vikings WR

This guy is truly the perfect receiver. Routinely makes insane catches. Routinely cooks defenses. I could be his QB and he'd cook defenses. As close to unguardable as it gets.

Not everyone will agree with this list, obviously. But I just picked my favorite play styles basically. If these guys are healthy, at the top of their games, I think these are the top ten receivers.
