Titans lose to Saints last week | Last game of 2025-26 today in Jacksonville!

Ahhhh man. Last week's loss was pretty close vs the Saints and the Titans had a 13 point lead and a 10 point lead at various times. Both sides of the ball were clicking pretty well for the Titans, especially in the first half. The second half wasn't a total disaster but their level of play definitely had a pretty noticeable decrease, while the Saints had a noticeable increase in level of play. It wasn't an absurd change by either team, but it was just enough for overall momentum to swing towards New Orleans. Ugh. I'm not too discouraged by the loss, I actually see this game as potentially two ascending teams in the league having a nice battle. QB Tyler Shough was really good at QB for the Saints, and QB Cam Ward was solid enough. This game felt just essentially evenly matched. It was entertaining football for certain.

That brings us to today. The Titans are in Florida to face the Jags in this final game of 2025-26 in an AFC South rivalry matchup. The Titans would give themselves their best shot at a better Draft pick with a loss today, meanwhile winning could prove to SERIOUSLY hurt the Jags in terms of playoff seeding. The Jags could finish at practically any seed except 4 today. If they win it does lock in a top three seed. A loss could lose the Jags the AFC South Championship and a home playoff game of course.

So today is sort of a win-win organizationally speaking. I would LOVE to beat the Jags though and just finish out this season with a bang. The Titans will also have the most cap space next season so... I have tentative hope for the future. A win today would just feel pretty excellent as a Titans fan on multiple levels. I think it's good to give the fans some joy even with the team in rebuild mode.

COME ON TITANS LET'S END THE YEAR STRONG!

41-7... ouch. I thought maybe the Jags would take it easy on poor Tennessee because a win or a loss had zero effect on Jacksonville's position in the playoffs. Nope!

Cam Ward getting slammed on the one and only TD is is just another blow to the already suffering Titans.

Yeah at least they'll likely have a good draft pick and great cap space. We'll see! Apparently Cam is healthy with no major damage so hopefully he can heal throughout the off-season.
