Titans lose 23-13 to the Vikings.
Sunday was more of the same. The Titans have brought nothing but pain in 2024-25 and there's no signs of this pain going away. I am numb at this point at least LOL.
I try to not blame refs too often, and the Titans have proven they stink game after game but still if I am being honest, Sunday's game was the worst refereed game I have ever watched in my entire twenty plus years of watching NFL football. This game did not feel real it really felt like some WWE stuff. Flag after flag. HORRIBLE unnecessary roughness penalties and countless 'illegal formation' penalties in particular were the most insane penalties called against Tennessee. The sheer numbers were out of this world.
I swear, the league is trying to transform football into flag football. They can destroy the game all they want, but I promise you that this strategy will destroy the league if they choose to continue to go down this path. The NFL will be humbled soon if they continue to not allow even CLEAN hitting in the sport. Ludicrous. What is the point of football if they remove the violence totally. It took awhile but this is likely why boxing is not a premier sport anymore. MMA, bare knuckle fighting are seeing rises because they are real and they don't pretend to be something they aren't.
Will Levis has extremely slowly improved in recent games. Which is, something I guess. Like I said last week though, my opinion of him as a QB has dropped so low, that it will definitely take significant time and proof to really convince me he is really worth being anywhere near a franchise guy. He also takes too many hits still.
Levis improved his accuracy lately, has gotten a bit of confidence back in general and just has played like he kinda knows what he's doing. Levis has simply improved in several minor/subtle ways. Let's hope he can stack improvements like this together. His improvement does make the NFL draft in 2025 slightly more complicated though. I still say grab a QB. Let them compete. Demand greatness.
But yeah. The Titans play the Texans next... I will save my thoughts later in the week LOL.
