Well last week was unfortunate for the Chiefs as immediately during their matchup with the Titans, QB Gardner Minshew II tears his ACL. Right after Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL and LCL the week prior. So third stringer Chris Oladokun had to step in and play QB for the Chiefs. Awful luck for the Chiefs. Oladokun played pretty decently but clearly seemed a bit inexperienced.

So yeah from that point on, it was the Titans' job to win against a third string QB and a Chiefs team that has been through a lot in 2025-26. The Titans got it done and while this is a Chiefs team that was a shell of it's former self, the Titans at least did make it look easy for the most part.

The Titans were highly efficient running the ball. Tony Pollard is looking excellent and ran for 100 yards for a third straight week. I'm thinking he'll likely get 51 yards rushing today vs the Saints which would put him at 1,000 yards rushing. This was also one of the better games I've seen from Tyjae Spears in a while, as he totaled 100 yards from scrimmage, 52 on the ground and 53 through the air, he also tacked on a rushing touchdown.

This was Cam Ward's best game I've seen him play and he made some excellent throws and plays, showed poise and toughness. He threw for 228 passing yards, 2 TD - 0 INT, with a very strong 75 percent completion percentage. Pretty great! The Titans have a ton of cap space and will likely have a high enough draft pick, let's see how Cam develops next season.

Today is an interesting test even though both the Saints and Titans are two of the poorer teams in the league. They both have hope and optimism for the future as the Saints have become intrigued with rookie QB Tyler Shough after a string of nice performances. Ward vs Shough, who knows this could be a future Super Bowl preview.

The Saints are an interesting test because while both teams mostly stink, the Saints are likely believed to be above the Titans in probably everyone's power rankings. Like, if the Titans do win today, it would be a win to be mildly proud of I feel.

Let's see how it goes!
