The Machine NBA2K25 Career Pt. 33 + 🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
January 2nd, 2025 - Philadelphia 76ers @ Golden State Warriors
The Machine and the 76ers headed out to Northern California to take on the Warriors on the second day of 2025. Facing all-time great Steph Curry was definitely a shocking experience to say the least but the Machine and the Sixers handled business and got the win with relative ease.
The Machine had one of his better days as a pro finishing with:
- 16 Points, 6 Rebounds, 4 Assists
- Teammate Grade: A-
🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
In the real world, NFL Week 6 is history and the season is really shaping up to be pretty interesting.
Giants shock Eagles, 34-17. The Giants look hungry and intense out of nowhere. They seem good all of a sudden, but the sample is quite small for them so can't be too sure of them yet. The Eagles are teetering and look vulnerable which is pretty surprising.
Broncos squeak past the Jets, 13-11. This game was just gross. 13-11? What?
Seahawks defeat Jags, 20-12. The Seahawks look quietly nicely above average and Jaxon Smith-Njigba looks like the next great wide receiver! Reminds me Hines Ward kinda. The Jags look like frauds to me, their coaching is improved though so we'll see I guess.
Chargers defeat Dolphins, 29-27. Nothing too surprising here. Chargers seem like they are underperforming lately though. Dolphins are just weird.
Rams handle the Ravens, 17-3. Welp, the Rams look good! The Ravens are in deep trouble and may just want to get a high draft pick soon.
Colts defeat Cardinals 31-27. Colts look like the best team in the AFC South and it's not particularly close. The Cardinals looked WAY better with Jacoby Brissett at QB. Kyler Murray is just not very good. I think the Cards gotta move on from him asap.
Panthers defeat Cowboys, 30-27. The Panthers are pretty feisty for sure, Bryce Young looks sharp, Rico Dowdle looks excellent and overall they seem moderately well rounded. Bryce needs to prove more consistency but he's surprising me so far. Through six weeks they remind me of like the lite, very lite, version of the Bucs. They have slight momentum. The Cowboys should be ok, they need to work on their defense in a big way though. Sign someone, give a practice squad guy a shot, something.
Patriots defeat Saints 25-19. The Saints are trying man. Seriously they are trying but just keep coming up short. The Patriots are surging and are about to absolutely dismantle my Titans nooooooooo! LOL.
Steelers defeat Browns, 23-9. Nothing groundbreaking to say about this one.
Raiders defeat Titans, 20-10. The Titans are if depression was an NFL team. Sad times.
Buccaneers defeat 49ers 30-19. Baker Mayfield's career resurrection needs to be studied. Really happy for him. He's the quarter-season MVP!
Chiefs defeat the Lions, 30-17. Wow. The Chiefs simply will not go away. Ugh. My respect for Mahomes only grows. That guy is so great. The Lions should be ok, but I worry for their championship aspirations and ceiling overall.
Falcons shock the Bills, 24-14. Well, ok this happened. The Falcons were in their dome so that helped. I truly can't read the Falcons whatsoever. Bijan Robinson is awesome, Drake London is a top 10 receiver I think? The Bills have these types of games at times.
Bears defeat Commanders 25-24. The Bears look like they're finding an identity slowly. They look surprisingly ok. The Commanders I am not high on. Jayden Daniels shocked the NFL last year and I don't know how many times this happens and NFL fans are surprised that in year two rookie QBs can hit reality. Jayden is starter material, but I'm curious how this plays out for him going forward. He's also kind of a toothpick. Not much meat on his bones, we'll see.
