Happy Thanksgiving from The Machine's Universe!

November 27th, 2024 - Philadelphia 76ers vs Houston Rockets

This was perhaps the worst game of the Machine's career thus far! Nights like these only further motivate him to improve. It's time for big changes. If he keeps up this level of production, he'll be out of the league! Still on a day like Thanksgiving, he remembers to be thankful he's in the NBA at all. It's time to get in the gym and work!

🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎

In the real world, Derrick Lewis was victorious on Saturday in Nashville! The stoppage was maybe a bit questionable but overall I am ok with it. When you take into account that these are heavyweights throwing down, AND Derrick Lewis's powerful reputation it was a solid call by the ref. Derrick Lewis is simply a legend. His ratio of legitimate skill in the octagon and hilarious likeable personality is really just amazing. I'll always try to tune in for a Derrick Lewis fight!

Also, tonight was Major League Baseball's Home Run Derby and it was a pretty fun watch! This event will always be one of my favorites. Cal Raleigh was the winner this year and he only barely made it out of the opening round. Apparently he made it through by less than an inch over Brent Rooker! I was sorta rooting for Rooker as the A's are my second favorite baseball team and Raleigh is a Mariner, a division rival of the A's. Still, Raleigh proved he belonged by going on to win the whole thing. Also, it was pretty awesome that Raleigh took his pitches from his dad and that his little brother was the catcher! Super wholesome. That will be a moment all three of them will never forget. Raleigh is also the first catcher ever to win the Home Run Derby!

Tomorrow is the All-Star Game! Fun stuff!
