Taylor Lewan 2019 Score NFL Football Card

Good old Taylor Lewan. Former Titans' left tackle Taylor Lewan is a Titans legend in his own unique way. He had a strong prime of his career reaching three consecutive Pro Bowls as the card points out, but he also did deal with a fair amount of injuries in his final few years. Still, he was a talented player and a big part of turning the Titans around. He was on the team when they were at their absolute worst all the way to their AFC Championship Game appearance in 2019.

Not too often I get my hands on offensive lineman cards. I like it, need some more of these. Lewan is in his stance moving just slightly, clean action shot. The gold/yellow border is very cool.

One of my favorite memories of Lewan happened eight years ago today in a game against the Seahawks. Outspoken and pretty famous cornerback Richard Sherman hit Titans QB Marcus Mariota quite late, every time I re-watch it I remember how late it really was. Ridiculous. Well, Taylor Lewan did not like it and he let Sherman know in a rather blunt way just how much he did not like it.

Here is the clip of the Lewan-Sherman confrontation exactly eight years ago. Wild that it has been that long. Insane!! I remember this so well. I LOVED seeing Lewan defend Mariota. Sherman is super well-known to be a trash talker so that made this moment even more epic. PLUS the Titans won this game. I was so excited the Titans beat such a good team.

Lewan's legendary status has some extra weight too. He always reps the Titans and has created a pretty large online presence over the years through his podcast with former Titan linebacker Will Compton. It's a solid pod for sure.

It's safe to say all in all, Lewan is a Titan that will always be remembered.
