Taking a look at the Titans' 2026-27 schedule!

Ah yes, spring is nearing its end, summer quickly approaches, and NFL teams are slowly ramping up towards training camp! Football approaches steadily!

Another offseason milestone occurred two weeks ago when NFL schedules were released. This is always fun! The Titans appear to be facing the NFC East and AFC North this season. So it looks like a somewhat tough schedule especially considering the AFC South itself has gotten a lot stronger in recent years. The other three teams they'll face are the Jets, Lions, and Raiders.

Here's the Titans' schedule! September needs to hurry up!

The Titans don't have a prime time game or an international game which isn't remotely surprising. The Titans have of course stunk for a few years now and in general the NFL doesn't really show a ton of love to the Titans. Oh well, they just gotta earn respect! When it comes to international games, that's not a mega big deal to me. While those games can be cool, all that travel isn't too beneficial most of the time.

Another odd thing about the schedule is that the Titans only have two consecutive home games one time, and that's in the first two weeks of the season. Two separate times they have back to back away games. A lot of the season is home, away, home, away. Just kinda weird.

But the Titans have the advantage of geography on their side at least. Nashville is a pretty convenient location on the map to fly out of when traveling across the east coast or midwest. So the travel isn't typically too rough especially since they are facing the NFC East and AFC North this season. They only travel out west one time all season long when they face the Raiders in Las Vegas. It actually works out pretty well for the Titans from a travel standpoint.

Another positive about the schedule is the fact that they have a pretty well-timed Week 9 bye week, pretty much right in the middle of the eighteen week season.

HC Robert Saleh faces the team he first head coached in the New York Jets in the very first week so that should be interesting. OC Brian Daboll also gets the chance to face his old team he head coached in the New York Giants in Week 3 in New York! Pretty wild how both of them face their old teams so quickly.

The Titans face the Jags after their bye week in Week 10 and then again Week 12, that's always interesting to face a divisional opponent so quickly. Their matchups against the Colts and Texans on the other hand, are spread apart by a lot more time.

Their two Colts matchups are about two months apart in Week 6 and then Week 15. Their Texans matchups are even more separate, they'll face them in Week 5 and then in Week 18, practically three months apart!

None of their games really fall on any holidays or even too close to them in a super meaningful way, but that's ok. It still makes the holiday season feel festive. It's actually kinda nice that the games aren't right on the holidays sometimes. The games act as filler in between ya know? I of course would enjoy some games on or closer to holidays but it's all good.

The day after Halloween the Titans will be in Cincinnati to face the Bengals. A few days before Thanksgiving they'll be in Dallas to face the Cowboys, a few days after they'll be in Jacksonville to face the Jaguars. Before Christmas they'll be home to face the Colts, and two days after Christmas they'll be out in Las Vegas to face the Raiders. Their first game of 2027 will be at home to face the Steelers.

I know I said earlier the schedule seems somewhat difficult, but considering how the NFL is always hard, and teams ascend and descend fairly frequently year to year, I guess this schedule is fairly reasonable when it comes to difficulty. Hopefully the Titans are ascending! The Titans have stunk enough in recent seasons that practically any schedule will be pretty tough until they prove otherwise.

I suppose seven wins is somewhat doable, hopefully LOL. Maybe, hopefully more! Anything is possible, there's relatively good vibes surrounding the team at the moment so, we'll just have to wait and see!

I'm pumped for sure!!! The start of the season feels like an eternity away, but God willing I'll be enjoying a new Titans season before I know it.

#TITANUP!!!
