Phillies win streak ends in a brutal loss + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 15
Phils lose a close game last night and well their short, yet beautiful win streak has therefore come to an end.
It was a pretty brutal way to lose. After being down 2-0 much of the game, the Phillies battled back to tie it up only for the Diamondbacks to hit a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the freaking ninth. The man that hit the homer was Adrian Del Castillo and it was his first career homer. Rough.
Bryce Harper homered but overall the Phillies' bats were pretty quiet only mustering up only five hits all game. Wheeler pitched well as usual.
I seriously hope they get some sweet revenge tonight. Series is currently 1-1 in this four game matchup.
Tonight Aaron Nola steps on the hill, hopefully the Phillies can score some darn runs tonight. Phils face a quality pitcher themselves in Zac Gallen.
Much like yesterday, it will be another scorcher in Phoenix.
I've been slacking on these Road to the Show clips, but A.D.'s career lives on!
