Phillies win a SUPER clutch game yesterday vs the Braves + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 30

The Phillies bounced back in a big way yesterday after getting mauled by the Astros on Wednesday. It was a really thrilling 5-4 victory and I'm absolutely proud of these boys.

Cristopher Sanchez was slightly leaky yesterday but he stayed professional and kept his composure well and eventually the Phils had his back and scored some CLUTCH runs.

It started with a beautiful opposite field three-run homer by the bearded man himself Brandon Marsh. Marsh has overall been warming up a bit and it's a great thing to see. Marsh's homer brought the Phillies within just a run of the Braves.

Later, Nick Castellanos stepped up to the plate. The Braves' pitcher immediately challenged Nick with a juicy, very hittable fastball that Nick just missed. Call me crazy because I maybe am a little bit, but I SWEAR once Nick was challenged like that, I noticed a serious demeanor change in him, and I thought to myself 'this man is locked in'. I thought this pitcher better not challenge Nick again, but oh man he did. Nick got a fairly similar fastball and absolutely CRUSHED it for a two run homer to give the Phillies the 5-4 lead and eventual win! An exciting moment by itself but not gonna lie I felt a bit psychic!!! LOL!

Yeah, yesterday's win was super great for the Phils and it has given them a six game lead over the Braves. It'd be wise of the Phils to stay focused though, because with three games left in this series, theoretically the Braves could still come very close to the Phils in the NL East. Plus as great as yesterday was, it was still a comeback win by just a run.

Thankfully Ranger Suarez hits the mound today. Phils will be seeing Reynaldo Lopez today and if I remember correctly they had some problems hitting him last time they saw him.

It's going to be a cool August night in Philly, very low seventies. Can't believe it's almost September already. October approaches....

GO PHILS!!

An hour long one today.
