Phillies nearly make another comeback, but ultimately fall short yesterday vs the Tigers

Ah yes well, after Friday's absolutely magical game, yesterday's game was a bit deflating. Zack Wheeler actually didn't pitch too badly but, he hasn't been as elite as I know he's capable of being which is a bit unfortunate. He lasted six innings, allowing three runs and struck out ten batters. His tenth victory eluded him again unfortunately. He has had to face the Yankees and Tigers in his last two starts and those teams are obviously pretty good so hopefully his tenth victory comes in his next outing.

Bryce Harper continues his hot streak as he went three for four and hit his 16th homer, Nick Castellanos also hit his 15th homer. Castellanos has been warming up which is great to see!

Cristopher Sánchez is on the mound this evening, I have a gut feeling he'll be on point tonight! He's trying to get his 10th win of the season! Perhaps we'll see Jhoan Durán close the show too. Or maybe Sánchez will have another complete game who knows! Aaron Nola should be returning in a few weeks or so so maybe this pitching staff will show some more life in this last portion of the season!

The weather in Philly is once again mild, perfect for some baseball!
