Ah well, the Phillies win streak came to an end last night. The Royals aren't a bad team and avoided being swept in The City of Brotherly Love. Aaron Nola had another rough outing which is a bummer. The Phillies three runs scored were all solo homers. Kyle Schwarber hit his 52nd, and Bryon Sott and J.T. Realmuto both hit their 12th homer. It would have been nice to clinch the division in Philly but they can still do so out west. As a player that might be a unique moment or a fun memory. The Mets were off today so at least if they win the division with a victory tonight, they'll get to have a proper celebration rather than just watching the Mets.

Tonight's series opener against the Dodgers has a lot of significance otherwise as well. The Phillies can get their 90th win, a milestone I always respected. Also, the Dodgers are only five games behind the Phillies for the second seed bye in the playoff seeding. Finally, playing the Dodgers this late in September is a pretty fun moment. The Phillies and Dodgers have been really good in recent seasons, East-West coast competition. Just really fun times. Monday Night Football is also on.

Good times. Ranger Suarez seeks his 13th victory of 2025. It's a late game tonight but definitely trying to stay up and watch this one!

Schwarber just hit his 53rd homer! Let's go! Schwarber and Ohtani, two of the best powerhitters today in the same game as well. Pretty cool.
