Phillies lose a rough one yesterday in St. Louis | Big series vs Giants begins today + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 43

Well, yesterday was pretty disappointing. Not a single Phillie showed up yesterday unfortunately. A 7-0 loss is pretty much a loss on the whole team. Wheeler managed to push through six innings but he did allow four runs which, for Wheeler's standards isn't great.

Alec Bohm and Brandon Marsh have been rather awful with their bats to start the season and it would be nice to see that change for the better soon.

Taijuan Walker is on the mound today and dare I say I'm excited? Through two starts and 10 2/3 innings pitched Walker hasn't allowed a run! Today is a big test though because the Giants are playing tremendous baseball and come into today's matchup with an 11-4 record.

Perhaps I'm getting caught up in being a fan, trying to say the Phils are hot and cold only fifteen games into the season. But yeah I am a fan so I am going to speculate and also, 162 games can lull a team to sleep a bit. Sure it's only mid April but the season is approaching ten percent completion already which I find rather interesting when expressed that way. Every game counts!

The Phils have dropped two series in a row now, but a good series victory over the Giants would be an enjoyable bounce back. I'm ready!!
