Phillies Lose a Heartbreaker in Minnesota! + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 10

Ah yes, the Phillies found another way to lose yesterday afternoon in Minneapolis. Aaron Nola came in and pitched six quality innings only for the team to collectively choke the game away in the ninth inning.

The bats were working well for the most part yesterday, the Twins even pulled their starter out in the very first inning I am pretty sure. The Phils were just un-clutch in the worst moments. Feels like they left a lot of runners on base. Nick Castellanos has been hitting well, had a big R.B.I. hit late in the game, and was promptly PICKED OFF. Four runs scored is decent but, it's be nice to have a bit more production.

The main culprit yesterday had to be the the bullpen. Nola allows one run through six, and the inning following Nola's removal from the game, the Phils allow three runs to tie the game. Then Soto allows the walkoff run and so yeah.

Rough game for sure. Very sour taste in the mouth. Yikes. They just gotta take it one pitch at a time! Still have the best record in baseball, and a stranglehold on the NL East. They have time and room for a little funk hopefully. Twins are a good team too.
