Phillies fail to score more than a single run in yesterday's loss to Braves | Ranger Suárez takes the mound today

The Phillies couldn't score a run in Houston, manage to score thirteen on Friday, but once again score just one run yesterday. Yikes, not the greatest consistency obviously. Meh. All I can say is that Harper is out, Alvarado and Nola are also out. We are more than halfway through this season now! Certain teams like the Braves are feeling semi-desperate for wins, and in general the Phils could use that All-Star break soon maybe!

The Phillies were in the game for the most part yesterday until Jordan Romano came on in the seventh inning and promptly gave up four runs via a Sean Murphy Grand Slam. Man Romano is obviously fairly competent as a pitcher but he's been mostly underwhelming as a relief pitcher. Even when he plays well, I'm pretty nervous the whole time he's out there.

Still, being a relief pitcher is hard and well, the bats can't be nonexistent!

This afternoon Ranger Suárez is on the mound and he got a loss last time he DIDN'T deserve and so hopefully the Phillies can get the win back for Ranger, and win this series!

The weather is perfect in Atlanta for some baseball!
