The Phillies were absolutely cooking yesterday in their 11-4 win over the Blue Jays! TEN different Phillies had a hit, totaling eighteen as a team. Alec Bohm continues to stay hot at the plate as he went yard and drove in three runs, rookie Otto Kemp was four for five, and Nick Castellanos hit his SECOND Grand Slam of 2025! Zack Wheeler was excellent on the mound as usual. It was seriously just an A+ effort all around. The win completed the sweep of the Blue Jays and they got it done in a weekend series at home! Ya love to see it. All of a sudden the Phillies have won four of five and are very much alive in the NL East, being only 2.5 games behind the Mets and own the top wild card spot. Good deal, but gotta keep it pushing! The Phils have a massive series against the Mets beginning Friday in Philly!

Rookie Mick Abel gets the start once again tonight as the Phillies are down in Miami, and with no sign of Aaron Nola's return any time soon it seems that Mick might see a lot more action going forward. No complaints there as he's been mostly decent. The Phillies will be facing Sandy Alcantara who is sporting a not so great 7.14 ERA. The Phils gotta take advantage of this opportunity! The weather will be picture perfect down in Miami so hopefully the squad will enjoy that as it's pretty dreary up here in PA.

Let's hope this momentum continues!
