NFL Wide Receiver Rankings for 2023: #7 Cooper Kupp - Los Angeles Rams

From 2013-2017 Cooper Kupp put up insane numbers at Eastern Washington University. He averaged 1,616 yards, 107 receptions, and 18 touchdowns per season while there. Perhaps his dominance in the NFL shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone, but in 2017 he would have to wait all the way until the 3rd round to be selected in the NFL Draft.

Now six seasons later, Cooper Kupp is having a very, perhaps even criminally, underrated career in the NFL. Cooper Kupp had one of the greatest seasons by an NFL receiver in NFL history in 2021. It was truly an insane season where he had the second most receiving yards in a single season in NFL history with 1,947 yards! He also earned the very rare receiving triple crown since he led the league in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions. That must be an amazing feeling 50 years from now, to see yourself in the record books as number 1 in those major categories. To top it all off, Kupp and the Rams won the Super Bowl, and Kupp was MVP of the game. Just a great season.

He, along with Rams' QB Matthew Stafford, went down with injury in 2022 and so the Rams had a disappointing season after winning the whole thing in 2021.

Kupp is a known football nerd and top notch route runner. A hard worker and pretty tough. Well rounded in general. I absolutely expect him to bounce back in a big way in 2023.
