Giannis Antetokounmpo dismantles 76ers Thursday in historical performance | Timberwolves in town tonight

Ah yes, well the Sixers lost another game Thursday. At least I got to witness history though. Giannis not only recorded a career high in assists with 20, but his absurd stat line of 35 points, 20 assists and 17 rebounds has literally never been done before in NBA history, ever. So that was certainly a spectacular sight no doubt about it. He made it look effortless too. Truly dominant! This man is a unicorn I swear. Lucky to watch him play!

On a positive note for the Sixers at least, rookie center Adem Bona scored a career high himself of 28 points! He was exciting to watch, just active, explosive and really tough. High effort all game long! Definitely a treat to watch and I feel like his potential is actually quite high after watching him shine like that.

So despite the loss, it was definitely an enjoyable game for both of those reasons! Not really you average loss I guess.

But yeah, tonight I do expect more of the same against the Timberwolves. The Sixers are comfortably sitting with the fifth worst record in basketball. Only five more games left of this nonsense at least. Ugh.

Yeah, at this point I'm more excited to watch other teams' stars play than many on the Sixers. Anthony Edwards can be a bit overconfident in my opinion, I don't think he's the next MJ like some were saying last season but he's still pretty fun to watch.

If the Sixers do somehow pull a miracle and win they could potentially annoy the T-Wolves big time and send them into the play-in tournament rather than be the sixth seed which, could be rather interesting/mildly satisfying.

Despite all the losing in a way it is almost relaxing I guess to just watch some pro basketball and not be stressed. I would not want this to be a yearly occurrence but since I've accepted the Sixers fate and there's only five games left, I guess it's rather chill.
